Blood Oath Bourbon

Blood Oath Bourbon is a unique and high-end, small-batch bourbon that is rare and unlike any other bourbon on the market. Each batch of this bourbon is made by a single individual. Each blend is unique and has a limited run.

Created by John E. Rempe, a bourbon aficionado who has been blending spirits for decades. Blood Oath is his brainchild and he has helped oversee the making of Pearl Vodka, Rebel Yell Whiskey, and now his own specialty, Blood Oath bourbon.

Working with Lux Row Distillers in Bardstown, Kentucky, Rempe has created numerous incarnations of Blood Oath Bourbon, each rare, unique in flavor and balance, and when they are gone, they are gone.

All Blood Oath whiskeys are ryed versions of whiskey, meaning they have a higher than normal rye content which contributes to its bold, spicy flavor. Each blend is finished in a unique type of wood barrel, for example, Pact 6 was finished in cognac barrels. Each version of Rempe’s bourbon is referred to as a pact and contains a unique blend of mash bills and are aged in different types of wooden barrels for different lengths of time. It really is a labor of love and dedication.

Each barrel is aged to perfection. Some barrels age as long as 14-years to give each bottle a complex and completely unique flavor that is unlike any other bourbon you could taste. This complex and sophisticated bourbon is best enjoyed neat or over ice.

Pact 6 is the current recipe in use by Blood Oath Bourbon and is a melding of three high-end ryed whiskeys, one of which aged for 14-years, the second for 8-years, and the third for 7-years. This blend of bourbon is then mellowed in a cognac barrel, leading to a bourbon that has a sweet, complex, and spicy rich finish.
